The Takamine LTD-2002. Again partnered with the Cousteau Society, Bob turned to the graceful beauty of the endangered humpback whales. This spacious, marine-themed inlay follows a loose 'ring' pattern around the soundhole. Two mirrored rosewood whales dive inward while releasing lapis lazuli bubbles that follow the soundhole arc. The two are joined by a lapis ocean, inlaid with '2002' in mother of pearl. The abalone fingerboard marker inlays animate a whale fully breaching the water's surface.
