The Cretsch Catalina Club Mod "Cosmic Force" 2009 Bob came up with this idea during the buildup to the International Year of Astronomy 2009. This design uses an actual photgraph of the 1st Quarter Moon on the shell wrap, overlaying a sparkle backing, producing a stunning effect.
